Cheers to the Holidays: Festive Cocktail Recipes Featuring Holiday Mule, Spiced Old Fashioned, Sparkling Raspberry Tequila, and Classic Eggnog

Holiday Mule

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 ounces Vodka
1/2 ounce Unsweetened Cranberry Juice
4 ounces (1/2 cup) Ginger Beer
Cranberries
Rosemary Sprigs
DIRECTIONS
  1. Build all ingredients in a mule mug over ice
  2. Garnish with cranberries and rosemary sprig.

Spiced Holiday Old Fashioned

INGREDIENTS
2 ounces Bourbon
1 tsp Cinnamon Simple Syrup
2-3 Dashes of Angostura Bitters
Charred Orange Peel, Cinnamon Sticks, or Orange Peel
Cinnamon Simple Syrup: 1/2 cup sugar, 3/4 cup water, 2 cinnamon sticks, 4 cloves, orange peel
DIRECTIONS
  1. Combine orange peel, and rub around the rim of a rocks glass.
  2. Add to the glass, bourbon, simple syrup, and bitters. Stir to mix.
  3. Add in a large ice cube, orange peel and cinnamon stick. Garnish.
  4. Cinnamon Simple Syrup - simmer ingredients, until thickened, let aromatics infuse, strain, store in the fridge up to a month.

Sparkling Raspberry Tequila

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 ounces Tequila Silver
2 ounces Luc Belaire Rare Rosé 
3/4 ounce Lime Juice
3/4 ounce Simple Syrup
3 Whole Raspberries (fresh)
Lime Twist Optional 
DIRECTIONS
  1. Add a couple raspberries into a shaker, add Tequila, Simple Syrup, and Lime Juice.  Add ice. Place the lid or other half of the shaker and shake until blended. 
  2. Strain the liquid into cocktail glasses. Top with chilled Sparkling Rosé, garnish with a raspberry, and a lime twist (optional).

Eggnog

INGREDIENTS
6 Eggs, separated
3/4 cup Granulated Sugar, divided
8 ounces Bourbon
4 ounces Spiced Rum
1 quart Whole Milk
1 pint Heavy Cream
Garnish: Nutmeg, freshly grated
DIRECTIONS
  1. Beat egg yolks with 1/2 cup sugar until light in color.
  2. Stir in bourbon, rum, milk, and heavy cream.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites with the remaining quarter-cup of sugar until soft peaks, gently fold into yolk mixture, reserving the remaining amount.
  4. Divide between glasses, top with freshly grated nutmeg.
